Detective #2 works alongside Detective #1 and is part of the investigation. He shares some of the same dismissive attitude but has his own personality and reactions. The two detectives should have good on-screen chemistry and feel like believable partners who have worked together before. The role has opportunities for both serious investigative moments and understated comedy.
