About the project:
Months after the sudden loss of his older brother, a Vietnamese-American teenager tries to reconnect with his grieving mother as they each struggle to carry the same loss in different ways. Centered around family and grief, Tangerine is an intimate coming-of-age story about learning to see the people we love again.
