Female Research Participants for Security Technology Project
Job Description
A security technology company is seeking local women for a paid research project in Pittsburgh’s North Shore area. Participants will help support the development of technology designed to distinguish people from objects in emergency situations within schools, hospitals, and retail environments. This is not traditional film or television extra work. The project involves walking short distances repeatedly while carrying various items during recorded scenario recreations in a school setting.
Job Responsibilities

Participate in recorded scenario recreations
Walk short distances repeatedly while carrying various props and items
Follow instructions from the research team
Use a smartphone during portions of the project if needed
Remain active and on your feet throughout the shift

Requirements

Female
Height: 4’11″–5’3″
Slender to average build
Age 18+
Must have a smartphone
No mobility limitations
Must be local to the Pittsburgh area
Reliable transportation required
Must not have previously worked on this project in 2025 or 2026

Compensation

$75 for a 2.5-hour shift
Additional opportunity to book a separate 4-hour shift for $100
