'The Call'

Casting a short film. In the middle of the desert, John arrives at the home of a mysterious woman who leads him to a phone booth. He doesn’t know exactly what to expect — only that he came on the recommendation of someone he trusts. When the phone rings, it’s his father on the other end… who’s been dead for years. Through sarcasm, imperfect memories, and a conversation that never happened, father and son finally confront the silence they left between them.
