'The Endless Summer'

Casting "The Endless Summer," a short, music-driven coming-of-age film set in San Diego in the summer of 1976. Logline: On the final day of school, three teenage girls pile into a VW bus and head toward the beach, crossing paths with friends and other characters along the way. The film follows the small rituals, recklessness and freedom of being young at the beginning of summer.

The film will be shot entirely on 16mm film with a warm, raw and nostalgic visual style. Performances will be natural and understated, with minimal dialogue. Looking for actors with strong personality and screen presence who can communicate through expression, movement and chemistry.
