Holly, a frazzled holiday host, prays for her family to be “perfect” just once. Chaos ensues when her wish is granted and her family becomes absurdly attentive. In the beginning, Holly's family doesn't listen to her. Her husband isn't careful, her daughter tries to escape, her sister ignores her preferences, and her weird uncle shows up uninvited. In a moment of desperation as the meal prep falls apart, she prays, "God, just for one night-can't my family be perfect?"
