Tony Baltimore is an aging lounge singer in Key West. He was once the talk of the town, a huge star. However, the years have not treated Tony well. He hasn’t taken care of himself, he’s become complacent, and picked up a nasty drinking habit. Due to this, the owners of the lounge he sings at take away his long-standing time slot and give it to a new, younger up and comer.
