THE PASTURE - EPA Auditions

Mixed Blood Theatre Company is holding auditions for THE PASTURE, written by Mark Valdez and Ashley Sparks. We are seeking the following roles:

JANE (30s-40s any race, female identifying) - Young pastor struggling to maintain a shrinking congregation during COVID.STEPHEN (40s-50s, any race, male identifying) - A developer intent on turning the church into a high-end hotel.SAM (70s-80s, any race, female identifying) - A long-time congregant fiercely opposes changes to the church.TASHA (30s-40s, female identifying, any race) - An independent developer with plans for a mixed-use property.LEX (20s, male identifying, any race) - A church member seeking to create a dorm and gym for the community.AARON (70s-80s, male identifying, any race) - A long-time church member advocating for the community in its future.
Auditions will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM at Mixed Blood Theatre, 1501 S 4th St, Minneapolis, MN 55454-1106. Please enter from the purple door at the back, facing the parking lot. There will be street parking and an open air, paid parking lot available. Bring your headshot and resume, and please prepare two contrasting contemporary one-minute monologues. Lunch break will be from 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM.
