Job Description
The Emmy-winning HBO medical drama “The Pitt” is casting paid non-union background actors for Season 3 during upcoming filming in the Greater Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. This Pittsburgh-unit casting call is seeking local talent to portray a wide range of hospital personnel, patients, visitors, and everyday people appearing throughout exterior and community scenes. Created by R. Scott Gemmill and produced by John Wells Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, “The Pitt” follows the doctors, nurses, and staff of a fictional Pittsburgh trauma hospital as they navigate the challenges of a demanding emergency department shift. Selected background performers will help create the authentic hospital and Pittsburgh atmosphere seen throughout the HBO/Max series. Filming for this portion of production is scheduled for October 27–29, 2026 in the Pittsburgh area.

Job Responsibilities

Work as a paid background actor during Season 3 filming of “The Pitt.”
Portray assigned hospital, medical, patient, visitor, pedestrian, or community roles.
Follow instructions from the assistant directors and production team while on set.
Maintain continuity across scenes, including wardrobe, positioning, and movement when required.
Be prepared for potentially extended production days and multiple takes.
Perform specialized background activity when applicable to the assigned role.
