'The Shallow End'

Casting and seeking crew for "The Shallow End," a stylish six-minute short film set at a luxury pool near San Diego. Synopsis: Tiffany, a poised young woman enjoying a perfect day, has her peace disrupted by Kevin and Kristina, a very fun, day-drunk couple whose antics escalate into chaos, humiliation, and a satirical twist that flips the power dynamic. Blending sharp drama with comedic edge in the spirit of Clueless meets The White Lotus, this project is designed for the festival circuit and will be shot on 35mm celluloid film with an Arricam LT camera and Cooke S4/i lenses. Production is a one-day shoot on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025, in the San Diego Country Estates (Ramona, 92065). We are seeking actors for Tiffany (20s, attractive, intelligent, resilient), Kevin (30s–40s, lovable, clueless, messy but fun), Kristina (30s–40s, glamorous, ultimately sharp), and a Butler (40s–60s, dry, dignified).
