THE SPARKLE WARS - Equity Audition

Equity actors needed for roles in THE SPARKLE WARS at Main Street Theater in Houston, TX.

AUDITION DETAILS:
Date: Tuesday, August 4, 2026
Time: 12:30 PM - 8:30 PM
No break scheduled.

ROLES AVAILABLE:
- ELI: Cisgender male, he/him. The class clown type.
- MACKENZIE: Cisgender female, she/her. Comes from an obvious conservative background while sharing the ideals of her fellow students.
- AJ: Cisgender female, she/her. Theater kid.
- WRENCH: Non-binary, they/them, either AFAB or AMAB. Theater kid. Out to friends, but still identifies as cisgender to parents.

Note: ROOK (Transgender male, he/him - Primary narrator of the piece) is already cast.

All actors play core storytellers around the age of 21 and play multiple roles from high school students to faculty and adult community members. Actors of any ethnicity are encouraged to audition.

PREPARATION:
Please prepare the sides for the role you are interested in. Sides will be provided when your audition appointment is scheduled.
