Job Description
A new independent film production is now seeking featured background actors for upcoming filming. Casting directors are looking for natural, everyday people to portray attendees at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in a small-town setting. This is a great opportunity for performers and aspiring actors who can bring authenticity and realism to an important scene.
Production is seeking individuals who fit the specific creative vision for the project and can commit to all scheduled filming days.
Job Responsibilities
Portray an attendee at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting
Follow on-set direction from the production team and assistant directors
Maintain continuity and consistency throughout filming
Arrive on time and remain available for the full production schedule as needed
Help create a realistic and authentic background environment for key scenes
Requirements
Ages 25–65
Non-union talent
Must be local to the Nashville, Tennessee area
Must be available to work all scheduled filming dates
Must be comfortable committing to up to 12+ hours on set if required
Must be able to portray a natural, everyday community member
Seeking Caucasian males and females to match the production’s creative requirements
Compensation
$100 for 8 hours guaranteed
$12.50 per hour base rate
Time-and-a-half paid after 8 hours
