In the 19th century, Lord Elgin removed one of them to be displayed in the British Museum, an act that caused significant damage to the Temple when he took a piece of culture that did not belong to him. The remaining statues are now carefully displayed in the Acropolis museum, and space is held in that museum for the missing statue. Auditions begin at at 7:00pm Auditions will consist of monologues and cold readings from the scripts. Actors are asked to prepare a 1-minute monologue of their choice and are allowed to read with script in hand, if needed. Performances will be October 2-4 and 8-11.
