HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME: Editing in a creative way to help build emotion, increase tension and deliver greater payoff of the message for the audience Working with Davinci Resolve to provide high quality color grading to enhance the film quality Adjusting audio to provide the best quality possible Adding subtitles and branding to all videos and ensuring all final files are complete and organized WHAT YOU HAVE: 3 Years experience editing short form video content with narrative structure High level experience with editing narrative work Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, etc. High level experience with After Effects and color correcting/grading with DaVinci Resolve Demonstrated video editing ability with a strong portfolio Ability to work in a fast paced environment on a wide variety of projects Ability to learn quickly and is a team player Skilled in handling quick output without losing quality Experience with Adobe Audition, and working with audio files to get acceptable audio WHO OVERSEES YOU: The Editor reports directly to the Editing Manager WHO YOU OVERSEE: Currently, the Editor has no personnel reporting directly to him or her WHERE IT ALL GOES DOWN: All the action takes place at our BRAND NEW studio in Burbank, CA WHEN THE MAGIC HAPPENS: This is a 1099 Contractor role that will be around 20 hours a week with the potential to evolve into a full time position if all goes well WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN US: We've kept our hiring bar really high - you will work with the best You will be paid $25-$35 per hour, based on experience WHEN WE’LL TALK ABOUT HOW AWESOME YOU ARE: No formal cover letters, please.
