Visiting Assistant Professor of Theatre (Acting)

Position Title: Visiting Assistant Professor of Theatre (Acting) An MFA in Acting is preferred, but a completed terminal degree in a related area combined with evidence of professional work as an actor and/or teaching acting at the post-secondary level will be considered. The Denison University Department of Theatre invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position beginning in the Fall of 2026. The Visiting Assistant Professor will teach three acting courses in the Fall 2026 semester (two sections of the department's introductory acting course, with a student cohort from across the college, and one section of an advanced workshop in realist acting for primarily Theatre students) and two courses in the acting area in Spring 2027.
