Weirdo" is a psychological thriller laced with dark comedy, centering on Libra, a down-on-her-luck 25-year-old Black woman who moves in with Sapphire, a wealthy and controlling Cloud Engineer, after losing her job and apartment. Unbeknownst to Libra’s boyfriend Lamont, the two women share a toxic history: three years prior, Libra had an affair with Sapphire’s fiancé, who later died by suicide. Three years after the affair Sapphire offers Libra a shockingly cheap room in her luxury Miami condo but enforces bizarre, domineering rules (no guests, no "outside clothes" on furniture, no shoes in the house).
