Casting "Wet Rags," a wild, punk rock summer adventure in Nashville, shot on 16mm film. Logline: A pop punk band rehearses in their garage, and we see chaotic montages of the band members jumping into rivers, riding dirtbikes, skating, hanging out of car windows. It’s a sweaty, gritty, punk rock fantasy world.
The film will run for 2 min. Production has recorded the song, and in the rehearsal scenes, the cast will play to the track that was already recorded. If you play an instrument, great. If you don’t, you would just be miming it, so no pressure either way.
We care more about real chemistry than resumes, so actors and non-actors alike are welcome.
