In 1950s rural Georgia, a family welcomes home their eldest son, Franklin, recently returned from the Korean war. But something is... different. What begins as a heartfelt reunion, slowly unravels into a walking nightmare as Franklin's behavior grows more violent, and something monstrous emerges beneath the surface. Inspired by the true historical horrors of the Tuskegee experiments, Wolfsbane reimagines the classic werewolf myth through the lens of racial injustice, generational trauma, and survival. This will be my 5th independent short film that I've directed.
