Company Description Penn Talent and Entertainment is a performing arts organization focused on discovering and developing young talent for theater, film, and live entertainment. Team members contribute to programs that prepare young performers for auditions, productions, and long-term growth in the entertainment industry. This role is responsible for planning and delivering acting classes and workshops for youth and teen performers, focusing on foundational skills, scene study, improvisation, and character development. The Youth Teen Acting Coach will also communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress and support the organization’s events, rehearsals, and performances as needed. Candidates should possess strong Acting and Drama skills, with experience performing on stage or on camera.Must have your own curriculum to teach.Candidates should possess Acting Coach and Teaching Acting skills, with a background in instructing youth or teen performers.Candidates should possess Improvisation skills and the ability to design engaging, interactive exercises for young learners.Experience developing structured lesson plans, directing scenes, and preparing students for auditions is beneficial.Excellent communication, patience, and mentoring abilities, with a commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.Prior work in theater, film, or performing arts education, and familiarity with youth development or child-centered teaching approaches is preferred.A degree or formal training in theater, drama, performing arts, education, or a related field is advantageous.
